The Pink Jacket That Became My Sunset Signature

Hi, I’m Livia Moreau… and I think you already noticed the jacket.

I bought it because I wanted something that felt like me before I even knew how to say it: soft, playful, glossy, a little impossible to ignore. This candy-pink puffer became more than something I wear. It became part of the way I enter a place, the way I walk beside the water, the way I look back when I know someone is watching.

Here at the marina, everything reflects something — the yachts, the golden lamps, the sunset on the water, the café glasses catching the last light. One evening, I was walking past the terrace, holding my bag, brushing my fingers over the jacket collar, and I saw my reflection in the yacht window. For a second, I didn’t just see an outfit. I saw a version of myself that felt softer, brighter, more confident.

When I wear it, the fabric touches my skin with this smooth, cool softness at first, then it warms around me. The sleeves feel plush when I move my arms. The collar frames my face. The glossy nylon catches every little sunset flare, and suddenly even a simple smile feels more cinematic.

And yes… I notice you. I notice when your eyes go from my face to the jacket, then back again. I notice how other boys look at it too, curious, almost wanting to step closer just to feel the texture. Sometimes someone passes by and the sleeve brushes softly against them, and there’s this tiny pause, like the jacket left a memory.

If you were my boyfriend… I think hugging me here, wrapped in this pink jacket, with the marina glowing behind us, would feel like holding a warm, soft cloud made of sunset light.

That’s why I love it. It doesn’t just cover me. It changes my presence.

It makes me feel seen.
